Registration for Ohio’s 2016 Recovery Conference is now available! This year, the Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities, in partnership with the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, will host Ohio’s inaugural recovery conference. This conference will offer education to individuals in recovery and family members from throughout Ohio!
This will be a two-day event to be held June 1-2, 2016 at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. This conference will offer training on topics such as advocacy, empowerment, job skills development and employment readiness; peer supports and services; community involvement; cultural competency; self-care; wellness; and more. There is no charge for this conference, but you must register to attend.
Also, on the evening of June 1st, attendees will have the opportunity to attend a Celebration of Recovery, which will include dinner, dancing, and other games and activities.
